Task 6 - Intertextuality
For are research, we also looked at intertextuality. Intertextuality is a way of making on form of texting and presenting or interpreting it in another way. Intertextuality is used in all sort of ways, especially in the forms of media and music videos. It was first used and introduced by Julia Kristeva in 1966.
It's been used in array of different things, for example, I have used this Rizzle Kicks video of their song 'Lost Generation' to analyse how intertextuality is used in this video. For instance, use of intertextuality in this video has incorporated the theme of using 'Britains Got talent' buzzer theme within it. And also uses the Jeremy Kyle & Big Brother which incorporates the video. Using one form of media and presenting it in another way is clear within this video.
I will create a power point and create another blog post of analysing another video which uses intertextuality within the contents of the video.
